What is real, what is sample
A short guide to the demo site: which parts are the plugin, which are invented, and what is stored.
What is real
Every popup on this site is a real Divi 5 Popup Engine campaign, designed with ordinary Divi sections, rows and modules. Triggers, targeting, frequency, goals and statistics are the plugin’s own; nothing on the site imitates them with separate code.
What is fictional
Northline Studio, its events, offers and guides are invented for these demonstrations. Alex Morgan and alex@example.com are sample details you are welcome to use in the forms.
Forms
Forms are Divi Contact Forms. On this demo site every outgoing email is written to a log on the demo server instead of being sent, so a submission reaches nobody. Please use sample information.
What your browser stores
Popup Engine remembers, in your browser’s local and session storage, which campaigns you have seen, closed or responded to, so frequency rules work. Nothing is stored in cookies. You can clear it with your browser’s site data settings, or with the reset buttons on the visitor-rules and offer-click pages.
What the server counts
Views, closes and responses are counted per campaign, device type and day. No IP address, name or profile is recorded.
Demo-site additions
Two small utilities belong to this site, not to the plugin: the history panel and its reset button on two campaign pages, and the setting that hides product-page buttons until a product URL is configured.
