Campaign control · Offer click
A goal you can follow
A link from an email or advert opens a matching offer. Choosing it counts as the campaign’s goal, and the campaign then steps aside.
How this demo opens
- Opens
- Automatically, when the page address includes ?offer=check-up, as it would from an email link.
- Shows on
- This page only.
- Counts as a response
- Choosing See the check-up offer.
- After the response
- The campaign sends you to the offer page and stops opening automatically in this browser.
The journey
Four steps, one campaign
Follow the campaign link above, choose the offer, then come back and follow the same link again.
1
Open invitation
The link includes ?offer=check-up, so the offer opens as the page loads.
2
Choose the action
The button See the check-up offer is the campaign’s goal.
3
Reach the offer
Popup Engine records the goal, then takes you to the offer page.
4
Response recorded
The same link no longer opens the offer in this browser. The visitor has already said yes.
Retesting
Want to see it open again?
After the goal is reached, the link stops opening the offer in this browser. Open the offer yourself still works, because a request from the visitor is never blocked. To start the journey from the beginning, clear this campaign’s history.
Demo-site utility
This browser’s history for the campaign
Reading this browser’s history…
Popup Engine keeps this history in your browser’s own storage, not on the server. The reset button below is part of this demo site, not a plugin feature: it clears only this campaign’s history in this browser, then reloads the page.
What this demonstrates
Turn a click into a recorded response, then step aside.
01
A URL-parameter trigger
Campaign links from emails or adverts can carry a parameter. Only visitors who arrive that way see the offer automatically.
02
A click goal
The campaign counts a response when a specific button is chosen, configured with a CSS selector.
03
Behaviour after the goal
Popup Engine redirects to the offer page, and stops showing the campaign automatically once someone has responded.
